New York, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said “We will not hold the economy and the future of the Iranian people hostage to a theatrical meeting with US President Donald Trump.”

“The Europeans have not been able to fulfill their commitments to the nuclear deal after the US dropped out the deal , where they believe that negotiating with Trump is a solution to their problem while they mus find a way to their problems,” Zarif said in a press conference in New York.

Zarif said Iran had no demand from members of the US Congress and would not interfere in their country’s internal affairs.
