We Returned Damascus

Cleaning the Barada River, is one of the activities of ” We Returned, Damascus” campaign, in coordination with Damascus Governorate Council, and in cooperation with local organizations, associations and volunteers teams in Damascus city.

As part of the “We Returned, Damascus” campaign, volunteer teams and local organizations are carrying out cleaning and restoration work around Al-Marjeh Square in the heart of Damascus. The governorate stated that the area is witnessing continuous efforts that reflect the local community’s commitment to preserving the city’s cultural heritage.
