We do not care who will win the US elections, but rather that Washington returns to respecting international laws, says Rouhani

Tehran, (ST) –  Iranian President Hassan Rouhani declared that his country does not care who will win the American presidential elections, but what is important for it is that America returns to respecting laws, international agreements and treaties, and deals with the Iranian people with respect.

“What is important for Iran is the method that will be adopted in the next American administration, America’s return to law and all of its international and multilateral obligations,” Rouhani said during the cabinet meeting.

He pointed out that Iran wants to implement the standards of respect in international dealings instead of sanctions, and then our treatment will be different as well. The important thing for us is the method and principles, not the people.
