We are concerned about the Israeli escalation in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), says Moscow

Moscow, (ST) – The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed its grave concern about the escalation of the Israeli occupation’s attacks on the Palestinians in occupied Al-Quds( Jerusalem).

According to a ministry statement, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov condemned, during a phone call with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, the forced displacement by the occupation forces of the Palestinians, especially in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, stressing that “the situation in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) is worrying.”

 

Russia strongly condemned before, the attacks of the Israeli occupation forces on the Palestinians in occupied Al-Quds( Jerusalem), stressing that the confiscation of lands and settlement operations in the occupied Palestinian territories is a violation of international law.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their crimes against the Palestinians.

Twenty Palestinians, including nine children, were killed in the bombing of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, and hundreds were injured, most of them in the head and eye, in addition to the arrest of hundreds when the Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque last night and today. They fired tear Poison gas canisters to force the worshipers to leave the mosque.
