“Wathiqat Watan” Foundation takes part in the 4th session of China-Arab Forum for Reform and Development in Shanghai
Beijing – Wathiqat Watan (Homeland Document) Foundation on Tuesday took part in the 4th session of China-Arab Forum for Reform and Development in Shanghai.
Officials as well as experts and researchers from many Arab countries, in addition to a number of Chinese officials took part in the forum.
The forum focused on two axes; the first has to do with the Global Development Initiative, while the second has to do with the Belt and Road Initiative.
During the forum, Nermin Al-Nafra, Assistant Director of Projects at Wathiqat Watan Foundation, explained the role being played by the foundation in building and enhancing Syrian youth abilities, empowering women and encouraging dialogue among civilizations.
She talked about the foundation’s projects which contribute to the process of cultural, social and economic development in Syria, noting the training programs it developed to build capacities and prepare skilled human resources in the field of oral history and scientific research.
Al-Nafra called on China and all the participating countries to exchange information and expertise with Wathiqat Watan Foundation and translate the informative content to all languages with the aim of presenting the development models to the entire world.
It is to be noted that the forum focuses on implementing the outcomes of the first Sino-Arab summit, and working to build the Chinese-Arab community for a shared future within the framework of the Global Development and the Belt and Road initiatives.
