Water stations in Amuda and Al-Darbasiyah cities in Hasakah countryside put out of service due to Turkish occupation attacks

The Turkish occupation continued its attacks on the infrastructure in Hasakah and its countryside by targeting most of the electricity power stations in the governorate with artillery and drones, which led to putting water stations out of service.

The Director General of the Water Corporation Eng.  Muhammad Othman said in a statement to  SANA correspondent that the two water stations in the cities of Amuda and Al-Darbasiya went out of service as the electricity power-station feeding them had stopped due to the Turkish aggression  which will completely deprive thousands of citizens of water.

Eng. Othman indicated that Qamishli City water project may also stop operating as a result of  the continued Turkish aggression targeting of electrical feeding stations.

Othman pointed out that the impacts of the Turkish aggression were not limited to the aforementioned cities as Alouk water station in the countryside of the occupied city of Ras al-Ain also stopped working due to the Turkish occupation targeting the Darbasiyah electricity station that feeds it several months ago.  This led to deprive about one million citizens in the city of Al-Hasakah,  its surroundings and its western countryside of the only source of drinking water.

Later, the Turkish occupation forces bombed warehouses for the maintenance of the oilfields as well as the electricity power-station in the oil town of Rmeilan in the eastern countryside of Qamishli.
