Water reaches Hasaka neighborhoods following strenuous government efforts & international pressure on Erdogan’s regime

Hasaka (ST): Drinking water started to reach the neighborhoods of Hasaka city after a 14 day stop because the Turkish regime and its mercenaries halted the pumping of water from Alouk station which is the main source of drinking water for about one million people for the city and its vicinity.

Hasaka governor, Ghassan Khalil, told reporters that water began to reach houses of the citizens from Alouk water station after two-weeks suspension following governmental efforts and international pressures put  on Erdogan’s regime.

He added that 17 wells out of 30 and 4 pumps started to work and efforts are underway to operate the remaining wells with their full capacity.

Khalil expressed high appreciation for the locals’ cooperation with the government and their contribution to alleviating the suffering of people during the difficult period when there was no water due to the Turkish regime and its mercenaries.

Earlier, the technical workshops of the General Water Establishment entered the station to repair it in the aftermath of  its plunder by the Turkish regime soldiers and its mercenary terrorist organizations.
