Water pumping resumed to Hasakah neighborhoods after more than 4 months of stoppage due to Turkish occupation practices
The Water General Establishment in Hasakah on Saturday started pumping water from Allouk station to a number of neighborhoods in the city after more than 4 months of stoppage due to the Turkish occupation’s refusal to allow the establishment’s maintenance teams to enter the station to fix the damage in the electric power line that operates the station equipment.
The Acting Director of the Establishment Mohammad Al-Othman told SANA that the establishment started water pumping to the neighborhoods of Al-Nashwa Al-Gharbiya, Al-Shari’a, Al-Villat and the Youth Housing complex after the situation of water production at Allouk station has become stable and the electricity returns to feed this water facility.
