Water pumping from Alouk Water Station to Hasaka neighborhoods resumed

HASAKA, (ST)- The pumping of drinking water from Alouk Water Station in Ras al-Ayn countryside in Hasaka to the neighborhoods of the city was resumed on Saturday after a week-long stop forced by the Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries, according to Hasaka Water Company.

20 wells have been operated in the station to resume water pumping to the water tanks in al-Hima area which in turn will pump water to the eastern neighborhoods of Hasaka city later today, Mahmoud al-Ukla, the company’s Director General said.

The Turkish occupation forces in Hasaka northern countryside have repeatedly cut off water from Alouk station, the only source of drinking water for citizens in the city of Hasaka and its western countryside.
