Water projects in Misyaf area damaged due to Israeli aggression

The Israeli aggression on Misyaf caused damage to water projects in this area and led to the interruption of electricity supply to the Al-Juraifat wells that supply the city of Misyaf  and the wells of Khan Jalmidoun town and the wells of the city of Salhab.
The Ministry of Water Resources said in a statement reported by SANA today that the Zionist aggression on Misyaf area caused damage to water projects in the area, represented by the destruction of the main pumping and drainage lines with diameters of (315mm – 180mm – 160mm) towards the Misyaf ground reservoir, and the interruption of the electrical supply line to the wells of Khan Jalmidoun and the wells of the city of Salhab.
The Ministry stated that work is underway to repair the damage and restore the drinking water network as quickly as possible. The Al-Juraifat project was returned to service after the completion of maintenance work to fix the damage caused to it by the Zionist aggression, and the electrical supply to the project was restored.
The Israeli enemy launched a missile attack from the direction of northwest Lebanon, targeting a number of military sites in Syria’s central region. The Syrian army air defenses intercepted the missiles and shot down some of them.
The number of martyrs due to the Israeli aggression on several sites in the vicinity of Misyaf yesterday has risen to 16 in addition to 36 wounded, 6 of them are in critical condition. The aggression also caused significant material damage to roads, water, electricity and communications networks in several areas in Misyaf countryside.
