Rehabilitation of Drinking Water Network in Khan Sheikhoun

Idlib, (ST) – The Water General Establishment rehabilitates the drinking water network in Khan Sheikhoun area in the liberated Idlib countryside. It restored basic services to the area to supply the residents with drinking water.

The Director General of the Establishment’s branch in Idlib, Muhammad Al-Ajmi, said in a statement to SANA that the work includes replacing the old network with a new one with the support and funding of the United Nations Children’s Fund “UNICEF” under the supervision and implementation of national expertise and cadres. He pointed to the vitality of the project in improving the reality of drinking water and bringing it to homes and ending the suffering People returning to their homes where they secure water through tanks.

It is noteworthy that the Drinking Water General Establishment in Idlib, in cooperation with the General Electricity Company, is implementing the electrical connection project for the Tel Ass station feeding the Khan Sheikhoun area to ensure the continuity of water pumping operations and feeding the area.
