He said that after the announcement of Fatou Bensouda, the ICC Prosecutor, that she wants to open a comprehensive investigation into possible war crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Palestinian Foreign ministry welcomed Bensouda’s announcement, saying that the step is the first of its kind since 2015 and it is an important development to open investigation into the Israeli occupation’s war crimes in the West bank and Gaza strip.

The ministry vowed complete cooperation with the ICC in order to achieve justice for the Palestinians, who are victims of the Israeli occupation crimes.
