Washington and the West’s economic measures against Syria violate international law, says Egyptian politician
Cairo, (ST) – The Head of the Egyptian Generation Party and the General Coordinator of the National Coalition of Egyptian Political Parties, Naji Al-Shihabi, affirmed that the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by Western countries on the Syrian people are unjust. “These measures violate international law and the Charter of the United Nations”, he added.
In a statement to SANA reporter in Cairo, Al-Shihabi denounced the continued support of the United States and the Turkish regime to terrorist organizations that attack economic facilities, agricultural lands, archaeological and cultural monuments and steal the wealth of the Syrian people.
Al-Shihabi praised the steadfastness and victories of the Syrian Arab Army in its battle against terrorism.
