Washington and its allies are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Syrians, says Foreign Minister of Venezuela

Caracas, (ST) – The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Jorge Ariasa, affirmed that the United States and its allies are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Syrians, including many children, as a result of the terrorist aggression on Syria that has been going on for 10 years.

Ariasa said in a tweet on Tuesday that, the Syrian people triumphed over Western forces, stressing that the terrorism cannot undermine the will and dignity of the Syrian people.

 

Venezuela has repeatedly called for the fight against terrorism away from double standards and on the basis of cooperation as an effective way to defeat the terrorist organization “ISIS” and other terrorist organizations.

Venezuela stressed also that, the recent increase in the number of terrorists in the world is the result of destabilizing the security of Syria, Iraq and Libya through foreign interference in their internal affairs.
