Washington adopts deceptive behavior towards Iran, says Kanaani

Tehran, (ST) – Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani confirmed that Washington is adopting deceptive behavior towards Iran. He added that Washington sends messages to Iran through several parties, while claiming that it is unwilling to continue dialogue with it.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman added in his weekly press conference on Monday that Washington wants to return to the nuclear agreement, but it does not want to pay the price for this step. He added that within the framework of the negotiations to cancel the embargo, we reached a good understanding, but we want to negotiate to reach an agreement that satisfies everyone. .

Kanaani said that the problem is the duplication of American policy, as they say one thing and do another. He added that Iran will abide by the results of the negotiations, and it is as long as it abides by its commitments.

Kanaani stressed that our clear message is commitment, as we adhere to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, provided that the American side also abides by its terms.

Kanaani affirmed that Iran is a strong country and will not have to compromise through provocation, threats or interference in its internal affairs.
