The production unit of the Syrian Company for Ready-made Garments (Waseem)- branch of the sugar factory of Tal Salhab in the western Hama countryside provided 53 job opportunities for women from the families of martyrs to work in a sewing workshop affiliated to it.
The head of the production unit, Shadia Muhammad, indicated to a SANA reporter that the establishment of a sewing workshop benefits dozens of families, noting that the unit produces specific orders for the benefit of Military Missions Department through annual contracts.
Tariq Al-Ahmad, the supervisor of the unit’ workshops, indicated that Waseem Company has 12 sewing workshops as production units for the employment of the martyrs’ families. The workshop of Tal Salhab Sugar Company is one of these units as it contains sections for cutting, sewing, packaging and final preparation for shipping clothes according to specific contracts to the Department of Military Missions and government agencies contracting with the company which benefits dozens of families of martyrs.
A number of female workers in the company’s production unit in Salhab expressed their great appreciation for the job opportunities provided to them by the workshop after training and mastering the sewing profession and opening a project for them in the future, after they were able to fulfill any order, whether military or civilian.
