Warning of the seriousness of the excavations carried out by the Israeli occupation near Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Palestinian Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem has warned of the danger of the excavations carried out by the Israeli occupation near the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Endowments Department said that the Israeli forces  actions constitute a flagrant violation of international decisions.

The Endowments Department said in a statement on January 10th, that the Israeli occupation trucks continued the excavation work in Al-Buraq Square, “the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque,” and near Al-Mughrabi Gate as part of the occupation’s plan to judaize Al-Buraq Square and southwest of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Endowments Department demanded the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)to work hard and swiftly to protect the mosque from Israeli attacks and violations that contradict international humanitarian law and the decisions of the World Heritage Committee issued in this regard.
