War Criminal Applauded at US Congress

The United States has never missed any opportunity to confirm its support for the Israeli entity either through political stances at the Security Council or through supplying this entity with sophisticated weapons to complete its schemes in the region.

All the atrocities and barbaric crimes that have been committed by the Israeli entity in the occupied Arab territories including Palestine, particularly in Gaza, in the Syrian Golan and in Lebanon couldn’t change the US administration’s commitment to what it always calls “Israel’s security” no matter at the expense of whom.

On July 24th, the genocidal Zionist war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu took the podium in the US Congress after he washed his hands of the blood of Gaza children, and as usual, he got applaud from the racist congress members.

In his speech at the Congress, Netanyahu thanked US President Joe Biden for “half a century of friendship to Israel” and expressed gratitude to former US President Donald Trump, hailing his pro-Israeli decisions, including recognizing  Israel’s sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan and moving the US Embassy to Al-Quds.

Commenting on this scene at the Congress, Pablo Sapag, associate Professor at Completeness University of Madrid, said in a statement to “Syria Times”: “Benjamin Netayahu’s –actually Mileikowsky, his Polish real family name- at the US Congress demonstrates once again the 108 years old ingrained collusion between the Collective West’s interests and the Zionist project that leader of the Western occupier entity represents in the heart of Natural Syria”.

He explained that Netanyahu-Mileikowsky addressing such pretended democratic institution in the current circumstances in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, the occupied Syrian Golan or the Syrian cities constantly bombed by Israel is also obscene and demonstrates how weak and rotten are the moral standards of the US and the Collective West.

Sapag went on to say “the Zionist leader speech at the US Congress coincides with the endorsement the Zionist entity has received from the Collective West in the Paris Olympic Games. Without any remorse, they have imposed its participation in the Olympic Games as they did just three months ago allowing its participation in the Eurovision festival contest regardless that almost 40,000 people have been killed in Palestine and beyond since October 7th 2023”.

“All those examples are not anecdotic gestures but show a long-standing pattern of the Western deep and unconditional commitment to its creature, the Zionist-Israel entity. They follow the footsteps of the 1916 Sykes-Picot secret French and British agreement and those of the 1917 Balfour Declaration.  Those actions set the bases of the partition of Natural Syria, the Palestinian catastrophe and all the occupation schemes and massacres witnessed by the region since then to nowadays”, Sapag added.

From another perspective, Sapag also said, Netanyahu-Mileikowsky presence in the US Congress also demonstrates how weak has the Western-Zionist imperialist project in Bilad al-Sham has become. Otherwise they wouldn’t have exposed such an institution to a propagandistic show that not benefits at all the US image around the world. However, at this critical crossroads for the Western-Zionist project and the US waning hegemony, the US establishment took the bipartisan risk to endorse politically and economically the leader of an entity accused at international courts of crimes against humanity. All that was done at daylight, so everybody could have seen it.
