Volodin: Kiev and Washington are behind the missile attack on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka

Volodymyr Zelensky and Washington are behind the missile attack on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka, trying to prevent a new Nuremberg trial, in which the captured “Azov” will testify, according to Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

“President Zelensky and Washington were behind the missile attack on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka. It had one purpose: to prevent a new Nuremberg trial in which captured Azov Nazis would testify. Washington and Kyiv eliminate witnesses of their crimes against them.” Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel so that citizens in Europe and the U.S. won’t turn away from them, and the supply of weapons and ammunition continues.”

The spokesperson of the State Duma added that the recognition of their atrocities by Azak nationalists (whose militants have been brought in Russia) will lead to demands for prosecution of the leaders of a number of NATO countries.

Earlier on Friday, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 40 Ukrainian POWs were killed and 75 injured as a result of the Ukrainian attack by the American HIMARS MLRS on a detention center in Yelenovka in the DPR. Later, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the bombing of the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka was deliberate and started because of the militants who were there, mainly from Azov, began to testify, as cases were launched against them in the Russian Federation.

On Friday, the DPR headquarters for territorial defense said that Kiev “intentionally destroyed the surrendering Ukrainian militants to cover the traces of war crimes against the civilian population of Donbass, thereby forcing the rest to continue hostilities and do not surrender to the troops of the Donetsk People’s Republic ” .
