Volodin: A sad fate awaits Ukraine

State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin has declared in a telegram post that the crisis in the European Union could lead to the weakening of the euro and the return to national currencies.

“The problems of the EU’s Financial policies will be aggravated. As a result, it could lead to a crisis in the European Union – weakening of the euro and possibly even a return to national currencies,” Volodin said.

He added that the ruble is backed by real goods and resources that you cannot live without in the modern world. “Therefore, our national currency is getting stronger,” said Volodin.

Volodin noted that the situation with the euro is different: the European Union has become accustomed to living in debt, which has reached a critical level in a number of European countries.

“Previously, the rich countries of the European Union could provide aid to their poorer European neighbors. Now they have their own problems. Germany and other northern European states, which defaulted on Greece seven years ago, are unlikely to help today. The situation  this time is different “ It just got worse for them” added Volodin.

The State Duma Spokesperson noted that the USA is in no hurry to help European countries, and that this situation is beneficial for them. In addition, the euro zone, which competes with the dollar, is weakening. More expensive American resources are being imposed on Europe.

Moreover, Volodin affirmed that  Ukraine meets no criteria for accession to the European community, according to TASS.

“Ukraine meets no criteria for either joining the European community, or being granted [EU] candidacy,” Volodin wrote, citing total corruption, rampant crime and the rule of oligarchs there, as well as the country’s devastated economy.

“Europe realizes that only too well, too, but the desire to weaken Russia is stronger,” Volodin added.

The West is failing to fight Russia till the last Ukrainian standing, Russia’s top legislator said, “which is why Washington and Brussels are ready to do their best to keep the military operation running. In Volodin’s view, the decision to grant Ukraine EU candidacy also stemmed from that.

“A sad fate awaits Ukraine: as the decision making will be officially done in Brussels, the country would lose all its sovereignty,” Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.
