Vizzo: Whoever sends weapons to Ukraine wants to prolong the war there

Bratislava (ST): Former Slovak Prime Minister Robert Vizzo stressed that the countries that send weapons to Ukraine want to prolong the war there, warning against implicating his country in this.

Vizzo, who heads the Social Democratic Party, stressed during a television interview his party’s opposition to the issue of sending weapons to Ukraine, criticizing Slovakia’s delivery of the S-300 air defense system to Ukraine.

For his part, Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad announced that Slovakia is now in talks with Ukraine about providing Zuzana self-propelled mortars and repairing its defective military technologies.
