Vital Projects Inaugurated Marking Independence Day

DAMASCUUS COUNTRYSIDE- Under President Bashar Al-Assad’s directives, Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of vital development projects in Damascus Countryside. The total value of the projects are estimated at 4 billion  Syrian pounds (SYP).

The projects include reopening a power converter station in Dummar area and laying the foundation stones of a permanent power converter station and a polyclinics building in Sahnaya town.

“Inaugurating and laying the foundation stones of vital projects on Independence Day indicates the vividness of the steadfast Syrian people who are fighting terrorism in one hand and build their country in the other,” al-Halqi told reporters.

He affirmed the government’s keenness on according special care to the health sector which has been a main target of terrorist attacks since the beginning of the global terrorist war on Syria.

“The government has prepared promising programs to recover the health sector as to achieve health and medicine security in Syria by building new hospitals, rehabilitating damaged hospitals and providing necessary medical equipments and staff in addition to ensuring sophisticated medicines,” the premier said.
