Visitors of “Buildex 2021” stress the exhibition is an opportunity to know up-to-date building technologies

The 18th International Exhibition for Construction “Buildex 2021”, currently held at the Damascus Fairgrounds, has attracted a wide category of businessmen, architectural and civil  engineers, building materials traders and several parties interested in the construction sector.  

215 local, Arab and foreign companies exhibited up-to-date products in the building and construction sectors, including air conditioners, ventilation and cooling equipment, water and environment technologies, stone, marble, paint, insulation materials, security and safety systems as well as lighting and printing equipments among others.

Haitham Englizi, an architectural engineer, said that the exhibition is important as it provides a chance for him to get acquainted with modern building materials in the markets that can help him develop his business in internal cladding.

Shaher Wazzan, who works in the field of aluminum trade and kitchen manufacturing, said that a number of local, Arab and foreign companies participating in the exhibition have allocated a large area for this type of building materials to create a competition in terms of prices and quality. Therefore, he found in the exhibition multiple options that can support his work.

Some visitors to the exhibition told SANA that the event has created suitable environment to get to know a number of investors and engineers with the aim of carrying out investment projects and introducing their works and to be briefed on the up-to-date building technologies.

They affirmed that the exhibition has special importance in terms of the materials and machinery that were displayed by different participating companies including local companies as well other firms from Russia and Iran.   

Buildex 2021, which will last until June 28th, coincides with the exhibition of Furniture, Decor and Home Appliances “Lifestyle” as well as the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Water Exhibition  (HVAC, W) at the Damascus Fairgrounds.
