Araqchi assures Iran’s right of defending nuclear rights

Meanwhile in Tehran, Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi has said that the Iranian team will not give up any of the nation’s nuclear rights during the ongoing talks with Group 5+1 in Vienna.

ˈWe assure the Supreme Leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) and all of the Iranian nation that we will not give up any of our nuclear rights,ˈAraqchi stressed on his twitter page on Tuesday.

His comments came following Monday’s statement by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution that he fully trusts the government of President Hassan Rouhani and his negotiating team.

Referring to the mounting pressures on Iran by Western states, Ayatollah Khamenei said, “We trust our negotiators and believe that they would not allow any violation of nation’s right.”

Araqchi said that the Leaderˈs trust ˈis a source of encouragement for us and is the greatest supportˈ for Iran’s nuclear team.

Araqchi is in Vienna along with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and a number of senior Iranian diplomats.
