Victory in the interest of Syria, region and world underscored
DAMASCUS, (ST)_ the noble stances of the Federal Republic of Russia and its commendable help for the Syrian People as to encounter terrorism are but the normal non-stop merits of the Russian People in encountering oppressions, aggressions standing by the just causes of the people, underscored H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad.
In a congratulatory cable to H.E. President Vladimir Putin of Russia, on the 71th Anniversary of Victory Day, marking the capitulation of Nazi Germany in 1945, President Assad , on behalf of the Syrian People and of his own, voiced the most sincere congratulations to President Putin and to the friendly Russian People on this occasion, for which the Russian People paid a very high cost, but recorded in the history the legend of steadfastness and victory as to inspire generations throughout ages.
The Syrian City of Aleppo today, like all Syrian cities, embraces the hero Stalingrad with a pledge as to accept nothing less than defeating this aggression achieving ultimate victory in the interest of Syria, the region and the world, though of the fierce aggression and of the barbarity of aggressors, not to mention the bulk of sacrifices and sufferings, added President Assad.
