Victories in Iraq, Syria Indicate Daesh Collapse

Big victory celebrations in Mosul and Aleppo indicate complete collapse of the terrorist group Daesh, Secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaie said.

Rezaie made the remarks Monday in a ceremony to mark late military advisor Mohsen Hojajji who was beheaded by takfiri group Daesh in Syria.

He pointed to the future of developments in the region, saying it would make US to retreat.

 Following a US strike against the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi), Daesh (ISIS terrorist group) seized the opportunity to attack the Syrian troops deployed in the borders with Iraq in which Mohsen Hojajji, an Iranian military advisor was taken hostage by the terrorist group elements and beheaded later on camera.

On the other hand, Commander of the Ground Force of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said that Iran is to give crushing response to takfiri terrorist group Daesh,

General Pakpour made the remarks Monday in a ceremony held to commemorate martyred defenders of the Holy Shrine.

He pointed to beheading of military advisor Mohsen Hojajji by Daesh in Syria as a sensitive era in Islamic Revolution.

Today Iran has extended its border to outside the country, General Pakpour said.

Despite many threats by enemies supported by Saudis and the global arrogance, Iran is enjoying good security, he added.

Unlike US, Iran entered Iraq and Syria for advisory purposes and the permit of both countries, General Pakpour said.

The commemoration ceremony was held with the attendance of top Iranian military and political officials in Tehran.
