The victories recently achieved by the Syrian Arab Army and the Lebanese resistance in al-Qalamoun constitute a grave loss for Israel and the American Zionist project in the region. The battle in al-Qalamoun serves Lebanon’s people and state and limit the terrorists’ ability to sneak into Lebanon, thereby protecting the Lebanese people and the areas north, south, and east of al-Qalamoun.
The Syrian Army and the Lebanese resistance are well aware that the terrorists they are fighting in al-Qalamoun are trained and have advanced weapons, and their plans are probably being made by Turkish, Israeli, Saudi or Qatar military specialists.
The bet on breaking the Syria-Iran alliance has failed. Some countries have been betting on breaking the alliance between Syria and Iran and the Axis of Resistance, but they have failed.
The Resistance and Syria are making further advances and successes every day on the path of ending the Takfiri project in the region.
Syria’s victory in the internationally-led war waged against it would give a hard lesson to those who try to use terrorists and killers to achieve political goals, especially dividing the Arab states according to a sectarian basis and implementing the notorious Great Middle East Project, which aims, among other things, to perpetuate the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories and achieve the neo-colonialist interests.
The Syrian people are proud of their alliance with the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement whose heroes have sacrificed their souls to defend Syria’s sovereignty against the takfiri terrorists who came from more than 83 states and received financial and military support from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel.
The Saudi and Turkish regimes are playing a subversive role in the region, particularly in Syria.
The organic connection between specific terror organizations and the Saudi and Turkish regimes is no longer a secret. Saudi Arabia is trying to camouflage its role in supporting terrorists in the world as the Saudi family have had a hand in the majority of terrorist crimes in the world.
Syria is the first line of defense against extremism and terrorism, and the Syrians shouldn’t count on the Security Council or the UN when it comes to combating terrorism; rather they should rely only on themselves. The Security Council employs double standards, and it failed to implement counterterrorism resolutions because some of its members actually support and sponsor terrorists in Syria. A number of dominating states at Security Council like the US, Britain and France approve counter-terrorism resolutions, but they turn against them and support, arm, train and harbor terrorists in Syria and push them to kill Syrian people.
Some media outlets propagate baseless rumors about the situation in Syria. The Syrians rejected the idea of division and remained steadfast in the face of vicious attempts to divide and weaken Syria for over four years. Syria today is fighting terrorism on behalf of the world; people around the world are becoming aware of that and the plague of terrorism will spread in the whole region and the world.
