Vershinin reviews with Jeffery issues related to settling the crisis in Syria

Moscow (ST): Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vasilyevich Vershinin discussed in a telephone call with the US special envoy to Syria James Jeffery issues related to settling the crisis in Syria.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on its website that the two sides discussed in detail all issues related to the political settlement of the crisis in Syria according to the UN Security Council Resolution No.2254.

Resolution No. 2254, adopted in 2015, provides that the Syrians themselves determine the future of their country without foreign intervention and the terrorist organizations would not be involved in any political process.
