Venezuela: We firmly oppose the politicization of human rights issues

On March 8th, the Permanent Representative of Venezuela to the United Nations Office in Geneva Hector Constant Rosales expressed his country’s firm opposition to the politicization of human rights issues and double standards in matters relating to Hong Kong.

Rosales expressed his country’s full support for the measures taken by China for the sake of the peace and prosperity of its people.

“Hong Kong is an integral part of China and its affairs are China’s internal affairs and that no external forces should interfere in it,” theChinese news agency “Xinhua” quoted Rosales as saying.

Rosales expressed confidence that China will continue to realize the dream of a decent and prosperous life for its people and contribute to building a more just, equal and peaceful world.
