Venezuela Parliamentarians Voice Solidarity with Syria

Caracas ,(ST)_ The local legislative council for the city of Juan Antonio Soteggo and the Legislative Council in Porto La Crosse  in Anzoátegui  State in Venezuela voiced  firm support for Syria to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity , and rejection of foreign interference in its internal affairs.

In  a session held in  solidarity with Syria in cooperation with president  of the Syrian -Venezuelan  Club Antonio Saba and the Syrian community in Anzoátegui,  the two councils urged the international community , peace-loving countries and  anti-imperialist international organizations and progressive  and democratic political parties to launch  a comprehensive campaign to reject  imperialist intervention and denounce  acts of destruction targeting Syria.

The participants confirmed their full support for the reforms conducted by the Syrian leadership, calling for a peaceful, negotiated political solution among various Syrian sectors.
