Venezuela: National gas network under new terrorist attack
Caracas (ST): Venezuelan Oil Minister Tarek El Aysami announced today that the national gas network has been subjected to a new terrorist attack in the east of the country, stressing that this terrorist act is part of the sabotage scheme perpetrated by the enemies of peace.
Al-Aysami said in a tweet: “They are the same terrorist groups that are working, as usual, against the national interest to affect the lives of our people,” noting that the authorities had put out the fire that resulted from this criminal act.
Al-Aysami added: The gas pipeline will be restored immediately, stressing at the same time that the direct officials and those who planned this terrorist act will be pursued in order to arrest and prosecute them for these criminal acts.
