The US State Department welcomed the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces into the institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Reuters quoted US Secretary of State Marco Rubio as saying in a statement: “We welcome the recently announced agreement between Syrian authorities and the Syrian Democratic Forces to integrate northeast Syria into a unified Syria.”
