US-Saudi plots foiled by steadfastness of Syrian people and army

Following the failure of the conspiracy hatched against Syrian people by the US, its Western allies and Arab and regional tools, thanks to the staunch steadfastness of Syrian people and Army, the US and its allies started to think in a new conspiracy against Syria. The US and Saudi Arabia have put forward a new sinister plan against Syria through providing highly-sophisticated weapons to the armed terrorist groups operating in Syria.

The two states have been pressing ahead with their conspiracy against Syrian people. The US, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are reportedly helping foreign-backed terrorists operating inside Syria to prepare for an attack starting in southern Syria and spreading to Damascus. According to a report recently published by The Washington Post, a military headquarters for coordinating actions in Syria has been established in Jordan, and between 200 and 250 terrorists receive exercises at the training base near the western Jordanian city of Salt. The so-called Free Syrian Army say the move is meant to establish what is called “security zone” near the Syrian-Jordanian border, from which terrorists will be able to mount their attacks against Syrian army and people.

Anti-Syria terrorists have been provided with sophisticated communications systems. Saudi Arabia has also flown weaponry and ammunition to bases in Jordan in recent weeks. An unnamed Saudi source, who is close to decision-makers of Al Saud family, said that Saudi Arabia is in talks with Pakistan to provide foreign-backed terrorists operating inside Syria with anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets.

Saudi Arabia’s intention to buy anti-aircraft missiles for the terrorists operating in Syria is considered another escalating step taken by Al-Saud family against Syrian people. Reports published on mass media on the intention of Saudi Arabia to buy Pakistani-made anti-aircraft missiles and anti-tanks to supply them to the armed terrorists, positioned in Jordan, stir big concerns and reflect the sinister role played by Al-Saud family in killing the Syrian people, destroying Syria’s infrastructure and the continuity of the crisis in Syria. Terrorism has no borders. If these weapons find their way into the extremists’ hands, who are existing in Syria in large numbers, they can be used outside Syria to carry out terrorist attacks against neighbouring countries. Thus, the Takfiri terrorism will spread quickly all over the world.

The US intends to build up its military presence in Jordan in an attempt to exert more control over the current situations in Syria and Lebanon. The US has continued to build its military capability in Jordan. Under the guise of a humanitarian aid, the United States is putting full combat command inside Jordan.  Earlier, Jordanian media reported that a US airplane loaded with weapons and ammunition planned to reach the foreign-backed terrorists operating in Syria landed in the Mafraq Airport, about 80 kilometres north of the capital, Amman.

Last January, US security officials disclosed news on the secret endorsement of a bill by Congress to fund weapons shipments to the terrorists in Syria through Jordan.  The weapons, including a variety of small arms, as well as some more powerful weapons, such as anti-tank rockets, is flowing to what the US calls the “moderate militants” fighting in the south of the country. However, this name was invented by the US to justify its devastating role in Syria, because the so-called moderate militants are committing atrocious massacres against Syrian people and infrastructure. Adra and Maan massacres are two of the most recent examples of the criminal acts perpetrated by these groups.

These escalating steps against Syria reflect the hypocritical policies of the US and Saudi Arabia who have always been expressing false keenness on resolving the crisis in Syria through political solutions. Over the past three years, the talk about political solutions has been coincided with unlimited financial and military support for the takfiri Wahabi terrorists. Hypocrisy is also crystal clear in the talk about the US-Saudi alliance against terrorism.

Syria’s firm steadfastness and unabated resistance against its enemies during the ongoing crisis has unmasked Saudi Arabia’s plots and the real nature of the war against Syria. Syria’s courage before enemy, its commitment to national sovereignty and the protection of its people against the onslaught of Zionism, have allowed the public to see through Saudi Arabia’s deception and recognize Syria’s war for what it is. As a result of the Syrian people’s relentless resistance, the world has realized that the crisis in the country is basically the foreign invasion of an Arab land by Zionist-backed terror militias to implement a Zionist project in the Arab region.

The Syrian official delegation came out to Geneva to defend their people’s interests by putting an effective end to terrorism, bloodshed and suffering, the so-called opposition and their Western backers have sought only to precipitate the fall of Syria’s political legitimacy to create chaos in the country and facilitate the passage of colonialist plans hatched against Syria and other states in the region.

The US used Geneva talks over the Syrian crisis as a pretext to seek “regime change” in Syria and implement its colonialist plans. This sinister strategy was clear through comments by US Secretary of State John Kerry that forming a transitional authority was the sole purpose of the talks in Geneva ignoring the suffering of Syrian people as a result of the terrorist acts committed by the armed terrorist groups mainly supported by the US, Saudi Arabia and other petro-dollar countries.

The United States and its allies are planning to use Jordan as their main base for sending state-of-art weaponry to foreign-backed militants fighting against the Syrian army and people.  American and European security and intelligence experts are in Jordan to develop two scenarios, the first of which would facilitate the deployment of US and British forces in Syria. Their second potential plot is to oversee the arming of terrorist groups and help them develop plans to attack the Syrian government bases.

News reports said that the former US Ambassador to Syria Robert Ford’s remarks about the need to escalate the tensions in the southern front in Syria and further comments by the US Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman, who said the US administration has a “Plan B” in the event the Geneva talks failed, indicate that the Jordanian-Syrian borders would become a major gateway to transfer advanced military equipment to the terrorists in Syria from the US and Europe.

US President Barack Obama’s recent announcement that he pledged one billion dollars in loan guarantees for Jordan during King Abdullah II visit to Washington, seems to be indicative of a certain deal between the US and Jordan over the plan to step up aggressive attacks against Syria.

If the US and its allies go ahead with the plan, the Syrian southern zone would become a small safe haven for terrorists to launch military operations against the Syrian people. Jordan is also expected to become the only gateway for Saudi Arabia to have access to the terrorists in Syria.  An article published on the Middle East newspaper referred that that the so-called coalition’s representative in Washington Najeb Ghadban said the fighters were trained by CIA experts in camps on the Jordanian territories.  The US seeks to overthrow the Syrian government as part of its plan to control the entire Middle East region. The US has been trying to topple the Damascus government and set up a puppet regime in Syria, which has been long resisting Washington’s control, as part of its scheme to establish political and economic dominance in the region. The Americans want to control the whole Middle East. They can control that region by basically overthrowing the legitimate government, putting another puppet government like what they have done in Libya, like they have done in Yemen…. They continue to do this; they continue to do this like they did…in South America. The main aim of the US and its allies is to put an end to the resistance axis against Israel and implement the American Zionist project in the region, which aims among other things, to perpetuate the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories and dominate the Arab region politically and economically.

The first step for solving the crisis in Syria lies in putting an end to foreign arms and financial aid to foreign-sponsored terrorists fighting against the Syrian government and people.   If there is really a political will in the UN and the international community for the settlement of the Syria crisis, the flow of money and arms to terrorists in Syria from outside must be stopped so that there will be a possibility for an end to violence and the start of true negotiations through conducting a comprehensive dialogue with the participation of all spectra of Syrian society without any foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs.

Saudi Arabia has been the main supplier of weapons and funds to foreign-backed terrorists inside Syria. The United States is also said to have stepped up its financial support for the terrorists.

The flounder of the US and European stances reflects Syria’s victory over terrorism. The European-US public opinion has become aware of the volume of the West’s involvement in the crisis in Syria and its support for the gunmen. The Western countries recognized that terrorism, which they have supported in Syria, threatens their interests and endangers their countries.
