US occupation steals new batch of Syrian oil, smuggles it to its bases in Iraq

The US occupation forces have looted a new batch of Syrian oil from the Syrian Al-Jazira oilfields and smuggled it to its bases in the Iraqi territories.

A convoy of 23 vehicles, including covered trucks and tankers loaded with stolen Syrian oil, left the Syrian territories to Iraq through the illegal Al-Mahmoudiya crossing in the countryside of Al-Yaroubiya town in Hasakah, local sources told a SANA reporter on Saturday.

In the same context, the sources added that the occupation also brought out 34 trucks and tankers, carrying stolen Syrian oil from Syria to its bases in Iraq through Al-Walid illegal crossing in Al-Yaroubia countryside.

On February 27, the US occupation forces looted a quantity of Syrian oil from the oilfields of Al-Jazira and the eastern region and transported them by 34 tankers to their bases in Iraq via the illegal Al-Mahmoudiya crossing in the far eastern countryside of Hasakah.
