US occupation steals and smuggles Syrian wheat to fund their illegal bases in Syria, support militants
The US occupation forces Tuesday evening brought out 20 trucks carrying stolen Syrian wheat from Hasakah countryside. They smuggled the wheat into the Iraqi territories via Al-Walid illegal crossing, according to local sources.
The occupation forces, in collusion with the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia, continue to steal Syria’s resources in the areas they occupy in the Syrian Al-Jazira region, including oil and wheat. Over the past months, thousands of trucks and tankers carrying stolen Syrian oil and wheat have been brought out from Syria to the north of Iraq in order to smuggle them into Turkey where they can be sold with the aim of funding the US illegal bases in Syria and support terrorist groups.
