US occupation smuggles new batch of stolen Syrian oil across Iraqi borders

The US occupation forces continue to steal and smuggle Syria’s resources, mainly oil and wheat, from the Syrian Al-Jazira region to strengthen their illegally established military bases in this area.

Local sources in the village of Al-Sweidiya in Al- Yaroubiya area in Hasakah told SANA on Saturday that a US occupation-affiliated convoy of 37 tankers, carrying stolen Syrian oil, as well as several refrigerators trucks left the Syrian Al-Jazira region to the Iraqi territories via Al-Walid illegal crossing

Several machinegun-equipped cars affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia accompanied the convoy, the sources said.

Over the past months, the US occupation forces in collusion with the SDF militia have brought out hundreds of trucks carrying stolen Syrian oil and other internal resources, to the Iraqi territories.
