US occupation brought in 8 armored vehicles to reinforce its bases in the Syrian Al-Jazira region

The US occupation forces on Saturday brought in 8 armored vehicles from Iraq to the Syrian territories through a gap opened in the berm at the Syrian borders with Iraq.

Local sources told SANA that the occupation forces removed part of the berm in the village of Zeraya in Al-Yaroubiya town in Hasakah near the Iraqi borders and brought in 8 armored vehicles to reinforce their bases in this area. The occupation planes flew over the area to provide protection to the convoy.

In the same context, the sources said that the occupation forces on Friday brought out a convoy of 20 vehicles from Syria to the Iraqi territories via Al-Walid illegal crossing. The vehicles carried weapons and ammunitions and they were accompanied by 4 four-wheel drive vehicles equipped with machineguns for protection.

Over the past months, the occupation forces brought in thousands of trucks carrying weapons, military equipment and logistic materials to strengthen their military bases in the Syrian Al-Jazira region.
