US occupation brings out 120 tankers of stolen Syrian oil to Iraqi territories

HASAKA, (ST)- The US occupation brought out 120 tankers of stolen Syrian oil to the Iraqi territories via the illegal al-Waleed crossing as part of the occupation’s ongoing scheme to loot the Syrian resources.

According to local sources in Qamishli, the US occupation sent a convoy of 70 tankers of stolen Syrian oil from the Syrian territories to Iraq through Hamza Beik Station on the borders between the two countries.

Another convoy of 50 oil tankers also left Rmeilan town carrying Syrian oil, stolen from the Syrian wells under the US occupation’s control, and headed towards the Iraqi territories via al-Waleed illegal crossing.

The American occupation forces, in collusion with their affiliated separatist Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia, have control over most of the oil fields in the Syrian al-Jazira region with the aim of stealing them. 

Over the past months, the US-occupation brought in thousands of trucks loaded with weapons as well as military and logistical equipment to the vicinity of the oil wells in the al-Jazira region.
