US occupation brings in new batch of weapons to its illegal bases in Hasakah countryside

With the aim of perpetuating its illegal presence in the Syrian territories, the American occupation intensified its moves mainly in the Syrian Al-Jazira region in a blatant violation of international laws and principles.

In a new move, the US occupation, over the past 24 hours, brought in weapons, munitions and logistical equipment to its illegal bases in Hasakah countryside.

Special sources told SANA that a convoy of 30 big trucks, guarded by US-flagged armored vehicles and by other vehicles affiliated to the US-backed SDF militia, came from the Iraqi territories and entered the Syrian city of Al-Shaddadi, 60 km to the south of Hasakah city. The trucks were unloaded at the occupation’s base in the city before heading to Hasakah city via the western gate, the sources added.

The sources quoted eyewitnesses, who belong to the SDF militia, as saying that the convoy contained advanced medium weapons, including anti-tank missiles and modern communication and jamming systems in addition to big quantities of munitions, some of which were allocated to supporting the SDF militia.
