US-made sniper rifles were among weapons left behind by terrorists in south Syria

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, (ST)_ The Special authorities have found weapons , ammunition, medical equipment and medicine left behind by terrorist groups in the southern region.

A source at the special authorities was quoted by the Syrian News Agency (SANA) as saying: ” During a combing operation in the areas that were liberated from terrorist groups by the Syrian army in the southern region to secure the return of civilians to their homes, and in cooperation with honest people, we found a big quantity of weapons and ammunition hidden inside one of the hideouts of terrorists before defeating them.”

The authorities found dozens of ammo crates, rifles [ some of them are made in the west], US-made sniper rifles, RPG launchers, mortars, vehicles equipped with DSCH machine guns, medical equipment and medicines.
