US firm’s oil deal with SDF militia has no legal validity: Iran

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi on Tuesday said that the US’ oil deal with the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia has no legal validity, condemning the move.

The senior diplomat termed the move as the violation of international law, adding that it is against the Syrian national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The measure is another step taken by the US in line with plundering Syria’s natural resources, he underlined, according to IRNA.
