US Drone Crashes in Northern Syria

WASHINGTON, (ST)- US Air Force Command on Tuesday announced that a U.S. military MQ-9 Reaper drone crashed in northern Syria, denying that the aircraft was not brought down by fire but by losing of control.   

The command said an investigation into the incident was underway.

  SITE, the American organization monitoring terrorist activities said citing ISIS-affiliated media outlet that members of the terrorist extremist organization have downed an American drone near the city of Tabqa in Raqqa countryside.

The CIA Chief John Brennan has recently acknowledged that despite the so-called US-led international coalition’s efforts, ISIS terrorist organization still have the ability to be effective and to launch attacks worldwide including in America and Europe.
