BEIRUT, (ST)- The Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) has renewed its condemnation of the US unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, especially the so-called “Caesar Act”, which violates all the rules and principles of international law and proves that terrorism against humanity continues.
In a statement marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of the party’s founder Antoun Saadeh, the SSNP said that the global terrorist war against Syria continues and it is taking the form of economic terrorism, embodied in the US Caesar Act.
The statement hailed Syria’s steadfastness in the face of terrorism and its international and regional sponsors, particularly the United States and the Turkish regime. The statement pointed out that this steadfastness as well as the victories being achieved by the Syrian Arab Army will produce more steadfastness that will foil the effects of sanctions and economic measures imposed on Syria.
The party renewed its call for strengthening pan Arab relations at all levels and for national economic solidarity in order to foil the siege and economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people, stressing the importance of coordination and cooperation between Lebanon and Syria.
