US-backed SDF militia storms houses of Al-Swedeyeh town’s residents in Raqqa

RAQQA, Jan.10, (ST)_The US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia has carried out large-scale storming operations in Al-Swedeyeh town in the western countryside of Raqqa in the wake of the protests that were held yesterday against the militia in the town.

According to local sources, the SDF militia [Its Arabic acronym is QASAD] brought in at dawn huge military reinforcements and stormed the houses of the town’s residents searching for the protesters.

The sources affirmed that the militia imposed siege on the town and set up checking points at its entrances as well as kidnapped more than 40 residents and took them to unknown place.

Yesterday, a number of civilians were seriously wounded as the militiamen opened fire at the protesters in the above mentioned town.
