HASAKAH, Feb.7, (ST)-The US -backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia raided a number of houses in the vicinity of Tal Tamir town in Hasakah western countryside and kidnapped a number of citizens and took them to an unknown destination, local sources told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Monday.

The sources said that the SDF militiamen kidnapped a number of civilians when they had raided yesterday al-Askari and Azizyia neighborhoods on the outskirts of Hasaka city under the pretext of searching for escaped detainees from the “Al-Thanaweyeh Al-Senaeyeh” Prison.

The SDF militia [Its Arabic acronym is QASAD] continues to kidnap a number of civilians from Ghwairan neighborhood during the repeated raids of the neighborhood, and they have not been released until now without any information about their fate.

Over the past two days, the SDF militia closed the neighborhood of Al-Zohoor and prevented vehicles and individuals from entering it amid sharp shortage of food and services there.

The residents in the above mentioned neighborhood fear that the militia will displace them as their houses are located near the US occupation’s base.
