US-backed SDF militia loots the Spinning Factory in Deir Ezzor countryside

Militants affiliated to the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) separatist militia on Saturday stole the iron objects and copper cables from the Spinning Factory in Deir Ezzor countryside with the aim of smuggling and selling these items.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the militants dismantled the machines and panels in the Spinning Factory in an area called the “Seven-kilometer-zone”, north of Deir Ezzor, and looted the iron objects. They also stole the ground copper cables from the factory by using heavy machines and transferred them to areas under their control.

The sources pointed out that the SDF militia, which implements the orders of the US occupation forces in the area, deals with brokers and dealers who steal iron and copper and transport the stolen items to neighboring markets where they are sold after being melted and recycled in special factories.

In another context, local sources said that popular factions opened their machinegun fire on a military car that belongs to the SDF militia in the village of Mouzan in the vicinity of Al-Boukmal in Deir Ezzor southeastern countryside. The car was damaged and the militants inside it were injured.
