US-backed SDF militia kills officer and soldier in attack on Syrian army’s checkpoint in Hasakah countryside

HASAKAH, March.1, (ST)-The US-backed “ Syrian Democratic Forces” militia killed on Tuesday officer and soldier in an attack on a checkpoint belonging to the Syrian Arab Army in Tal Tamer area in the northwestern countryside of Hasakah, according to military source. 
 
The source declared: “This afternoon at 2:00 pm, a patrol affiliated to the US occupation accompanied by a group from the SDF militia tried to pass between the points of the Syrian Arab Army in Ghozleyeh town, but the Syrian army soldiers there prevented it and forced it to go back. After a while, the armed SDF  militiamen attacked the checkpoint with guns and mortars, killing officer and soldier.” 
 
The source added that Syrian army units responded to the source of fire, injuring several SDF militiamen.
