US-backed SDF militia kills a civilian in Deir Ezzor countryside

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia on Saturday stormed the village of Al-Zer in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and opened fire on civilians, causing the martyrdom of one of the residents.

Local sources told SANA that US military helicopters assisted the SDF militia in cordoning off the village and storming into it. The militants opened heavy fire on civilians, killing one of them.

The militants also kidnapped 10 villagers and took them to their nearby headquarters.

 The US-backed SDF militants repeatedly attacked the towns and villages under their control in the countryside of Deir Ezzour, Raqqa and Hasakah, causing the martyrdom of dozens of civilians. They also kidnapped hundreds of young men and took them to military camps where they received training on fight alongside the SDF militia.
