US-backed SDF militia kidnaps more than 20 young men in Raqqa and Hasaka

RAQQA/ HASAKA, (ST)- The US-backed separatist militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Saturday kidnapped more than 20 young  men in the Syrian city of Raqqa, and Tal Hamis area in Hasaka city in order to force them to fight within the ranks of the SDF militia positioned in the Syrian al-Jazira region.

Local sources in Raqqa told SANA that the SDF militants stormed several neighborhoods in the city, set up checkpoints and kidnapped 20 young men.

In Hasaka, local sources said that SDF militants in Tal Hamis area kidnapped a number of young men at checkpoints set up by the militants.

 The sources pointed out that the militants took the kidnapped to training camps to force them to carry weapons in order to fight within the ranks of the SDF militia.
