US-backed SDF militia kidnaps 20 youths from Raqqa to recruit them within its ranks

US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia kidnapped 20 young men from the city of Raqqa and its countryside with the aim of recruiting them within its ranks.

Local sources told SANA that the SDF militants set up checkpoints at the entrances and outlets of the city and its countryside, kidnapped 20 young men and took them to the militia’s training camps in preparation for recruiting them to join the fight along its side.

According to the sources, the SDF militia intensified its kidnapping crimes targeting young men in several areas under its control in order to recruit these youths in the confrontation of the escalating attacks against this militia in different parts of the Syrian-Al-Jazira region. These attacks result in the death of dozens of SDF militants and the injury of hundreds of them in addition to heavy loss in military equipment.
